Mrs. Lavone Seebeck Leggett, age 76, of Hazlehurst, died Thursday, June 01, 2023 at Community Hospice in Vidalia.
Mrs. Leggett was born November 26, 1946, in Jeff Davis County.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Otto Seebeck and Cletia Smith Seebeck, and brothers, Kenneth Seebeck and Cornelius (Doc) Seebeck.
She was a member of the Douglas Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
She enjoyed crafting, working in the garden, and tending to her flowers and she believed in family and loved spending time with all.
Survivors include her husband, Donny Jerrell Leggett of Hazlehurst; son David Wayne Leggett, of Hazlehurst; brothers, William O. Seebeck of Hazlehurst and Danial J. Seebeck of Hazlehurst; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 07, 2023, at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Buddy Goodwin.
The family will also receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M.
Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Alma.
Active pallbearers will be Ken Seebeck, Roger Carol, Steven Taylor, Danny Seebeck, and E.L. Breckham.

The Leggett Family and Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home respectfully ask all in attendance to continue to follow social distancing guidelines set by our local health district and the CDC.
