Leighton Dewayne Walsh

Leighton Dewayne Walsh, age 23, of Brunswick, died Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at his residence. He was born on July 16, 2001 in Mayfield, Ohio. He moved to Lumber City in middle school and settled in Brunswick after graduating from Jeff Davis High School in 2019. He was a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church. He was the life of the party and loved to make people laugh. He also loved music, fishing, and playing the guitar.

Leighton is survived by his father, Jeffrey Walsh and fiancé Zaddy Juarbe of Hope Mills, NC, and his mother, Carrie Bell of Lumber City; his brother, Joseph Bell of Lumber City; two sisters, Cassidy Walsh of Leander, TX, and Gracie Walsh of Rome, GA; paternal grandparents, Ricky and Patricia Smith of Hazlehurst; maternal grandmother, Cynthia Duncan of Lumber City; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home.
