Mary Colson

Mrs. Mary Felicia Colson, age 73, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022 following an extended illness.

Mrs. Colson was born August 23, 1949 in Chattahoochee. Florida: she was preceded in death by her parents, the late Robert Stanwood Phair and Maxine King Phair; a son, Roy Eugene Colson and a brother, George Edward Phair. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and retired from Piggly Wiggly. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with her family, especially her children. Her greatest joy in life were her children.

She is survived by her children, Bryan Stanwood and Deannah Lavada Colson; two sisters, Bobbie Jo (Danny Joe) Colson and Lynda Jan Guinn and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, October 7, 2022 at Union Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Selph.
