Mary Christine (Turner) Williams

Ms. Mary Christine Williams, age 82, of Lumber City, passed away Wednesday, February 02, 2022 at Community Hospice in Vidalia.

Ms. Williams was born September 21, 1939 in Laurens County.

Ms. Williams is preceded in death by her parents, James Travis White and Myrtle Turner Arrington, husband, Willie Thomas Williams, son, Bennie Livingston, daughter, Joyce Colter, brothers, Clyde White, Ned White, Raymond White, Fred White, Herschel White, sisters, Imogene Scott and Alice Livingston. She was formerly retired from Lumber City Egg Marketers and was a member of the Lumber City Church of God. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards, cooking and taking care of her family. She loved her children, her grandchildren and loved spending time with them, she will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Survivors include her four sons, Sidney Livingston (Linda) of Dublin, Tommy Williams (Susie) of Hazlehurst, Jerry Williams (Marie) of North Carolina and Rex Williams (Angle Jones) of Hazlehurst; sisters, Betty Barbee (Frank) of Dublin and Elaine Dixon (Sam) of Hazlehurst; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 04, 2022 at Lumber City Church of God, visitation will begin at 1:00-3:00pm and funeral services will follow at 3:00 with Rev. David Deen and Rev. Johnny Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery.
