Nick Dominic Hand

Mr. Nick Hand, age 33, of Hazlehurst, passed away at his residence on Thursday, November 14, 2024.

He was born July 4, 1991, in Jeff Davis County.

Nick was a dedicated, loving husband and father. His main goal in life was to provide for his family and make them happy. He was a very hardworking man and enjoyed tinkering with things. There's nothing he couldn't fix or do. He won the award for top Ace Tech at Tidewater for the past two years in a row due to his immaculate work ethics. He was a Christian man and loved his Church family at Lumber City Church of God. He was a true friend that was always willing to help when needed. He made a huge impact on everyone's life he encountered. He is loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his wife, and high school sweetheart, Brittany Leigh Toumbleston Hand of Hazlehurst; daughter, Annsleigh Marie Hand and son, Braxton James Hand both of Hazlehurst; mother, Cathy Vandegrift (Tommy) of Hazlehurst; father, Mike Hand (Sheila) of Hazlehurst; sisters, Kyla Hand (Jonathan) of Hazlehurst, Hailey Burns (Levi) of Hazlehurst, and Mara Hand  (Colby) of Hazlehurst; brothers, William Hand (Amber) of Hazlehurst, Harley Hand (Karli) of Yulee FL and Zack Vandegrift of Hazlehurst; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Sunday, November 17, 2024, at the Lumber City Church of God, visitation will begin at 2:00pm with the funeral service following at 4:00pm with Pastor Johnny Taylor officiating.

Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery.

Anthony Carter, Joseph Anderson, Kyler Faught, Brock Music, Will Burnette and Kalem Anderson will serve as active pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the family's account at Altamaha Bank in Hazlehurst.
