Robbie Wells

Mr. Robert Lee (Robbie) Wells, age 62, of Hazlehurst, passed away Saturday, November 01, 2025, at Meadows Memorial Hospital in Vidalia.

Mr. Wells was born May 22, 1963, in Jeff Davis County.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Hugh Robert Wells and Carolyn Virginia Shumans Wells, sisters, Linda Williams, Carolyn Currie and his brother, Bobby Gene Wells.

Robbie was a man who found joy in life’s many adventures. He loved hunting, fishing, scuba diving, motocross, mud bogging, and he was an avid cruiser who enjoyed being out on the water. More than anything, Robbie cherished the time he spent with his family. He adored his grandchildren, loved the Lord with all his heart, and found great pleasure in cooking a good meal to share with those he loved. His life was filled with passion, faith, and family-and he will be deeply missed.

His surviving family includes his two sons and daughters-in-law; Kameron (Somer) Wells of Lumber City and Kyler (Logan) Wells of Hazlehurst; two daughters, Hailey Davis of Fitzerald and Jada Wells (Cameron Taylor) of Hazlehurst; sister, Cindy (Marky) Hall of Hazlehurst; two grandchildren, Brightyn Davis and Knox Wells; nieces and nephews, Lee (Mallory) Hall of Guyton, Corey (Marti) Hall of Hazlehurst, Tanner (Jaycee) Hall of Hazlehurst, Celeste (Tony) McLemore of Uvalda, Kevin Poss of Rochelle, Tony Poss of Rochelle, and Chris Stevens of Rochelle.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 05, 2025, at 2:00pm at Bible Baptist Church with Rev. Manford Gilbert officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
