Mr. Robert “Doug” Anderson, Jr., age 54, of Hazlehurst, died Tuesday, September 06, 2022, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro.
Mr. Anderson was born November 12, 1967, in Jeff Davis County.
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Douglas Anderson Sr., and was employed with Southeastern Freight Line.
Doug was one of a kind, so gentle, sweet spirit, and compassionate.
Nothing he loved better, was driving his Jeep on the Beach while spending precious time with his family, whom he loved dearly.
He thought of himself as a grill master, and his family always enjoyed eating what he cooked. He would occasionally Bragg about being a professional corn hole player because he really enjoyed the sport, and was pretty good at it.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Peavey Anderson of Hazlehurst; son and daughter-in-law, Brinson Douglas (Brint) and Alex Anderson of Senoia; granddaughter, Lydia James Anderson; mother Linda Nell Moon Anderson Pritchett of Hazlehurst.
