Robert Larry Googe

Mr. Robert Larry Googe, age 77, of Hazlehurst, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Jeff Davis Hospital.

Mr. Googe was born January 08, 1945 in Columbus Georgia.

He is preceded in death by parents, Jerry O’Neal Googe Jr. and Verna Miller, sister, Mayona Kay Patrick and brother, Jerry O’Neal Googe III.  He was a retired Salesman and a member of Philadelphia United Methodist Church. He enjoyed golfing, watching TV and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Carolyn Googe; daughters, Leslie Googe and Allison Kirkland; brother, Mark Googe; sisters, Joyce Hend and Judith Buroughs.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 28, 2022 at 11:00 at Philadelphia United Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Sanes, Rev. Allen Hartsfield and Mr. Jimmie Ryles officiating.

Final Resting place with be in the church cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Jimmy Googe, Jerry Googe, Jeffrey Googe, Corey Googe, Adrian Googe and Triston Googe.

In lieu of flowers contribution can be made to the Philadelphia United Methodist Church.
