Ruby Jean (Bush) Griffin

Ms. Ruby Jean Bush Griffin, age 76, of Lumber City, passed away Friday October 13, 2023 at her residence.

Ms. Griffin was born on April 07, 1947 in Telfair County.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Willie Bush and Mrs. Ruby Owens Bush, grandson, Justin Griffin and brothers, Mr. Billy Bush and Mr. Lamar Bush.

Ms. Griffin loved life and she enjoyed it to the fullest. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She will surly be missed.

Survivors include her son, William Warren Clark, Jr. of Hazlehurst; daughters, Melissa (Ronald) McGinnis of Louisiana and Tracy Griffin of Snipesville; sisters, Barbara Johnson of Orlando, Catherine Fowler of McRae and Glenda Taylor of Milan; five grandchildren, Ronald Pilman, Allie Griffin, Hunter Griffin, Zachary Clark and Chelsea Clark; seven great-grandchildren, Zaydyn, Wesson, Briar, Ryder, Brailee, Harlow and Brynnslee; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2023 in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home, visitation will begin at 10:00am and funeral service will follow at 11:00am with Rev. Andy Williams officiating.

Interment will follow in the Union Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

All family and friends in attendance will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Allie Griffin, Hunter Griffin, Zachary Clark, Ronald McGinnis, Wayne Carter and Anthony Burkett will serve as active pallbearers.

The Griffin Family and Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home respectfully ask all in attendance to continue to follow social distancing guidelines set by our local health district and the CDC.
