Timothy Edward Hayes

Mr. Timothy (Tim) Hayes, 54, of Hazlehurst, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 15, 2025.

He was born on November 13, 1970 in Telfair Memorial Hospital to the late Edward Hayes and late Betty Collins. A native and lifelong resident of Hazlehurst, he enjoyed working with his hands, working on cars and spending time with family and friends. He and his brothers were thick as thieves and did everything together, including tormenting their sisters.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Woodrow Hayes and Letha Hayes; maternal grandparents, Dorsey and Ella Mae Crawford; brother, Neil Hayes; and sister, Cristy Hayes.

Survivors include his wife, Rose Hayes, sons, Gregory and Michael; siblings, Tammy (Hayes) DiCarlo ( Kyle), Stacey Hayes (Ann), (Cody) and Angie Hayes (Kaleah). He’s leaving several nieces and nephews and other family and friends. He is and will always be severely missed but he can live in Heaven pain free and be able to walk.

Tim will be cremated and there will be a memorial service at a later date.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Coastal Hospice, especially Jessica McBride and Amber Yawn, for the wonderful care they gave Tim.
