Tony Scott

Mr. Tony Scott, age 65, of Lumber City, passed away Tuesday, August 06, 2024, at Community Hospice in Vidalia.

Mr. Scott was born April 14, 1959, in Telfair County. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Scott and Polly Hilton Scott, and sister-in-law, Kay Scott. Tony was definitely an outdoorsman, he liked to fish on the Ocmulgee River and when he wasn’t fishing, he was piddling.

Survivors include his four sons and daughter-in-law, Jason Scott of Uvalda, Jamie and Kellie Scott of Mt. Vernon, Jeremy Scott of Uvalda and Jordan Scott of Lumber City; brother, Keith Scott of Marietta; grandchildren, Taylor Scott, Logan Scott Jalyn Scott and Kylee Scott; niece, Amanda Scott and nephew, Adam Scott of Marietta.

Graveside Service will be held Friday, August 09, 2024, at 11:00am in the Riverside Cemetery in Lumber City with Mr. Jay Murray officiating.

Jay Murray, Steve Scott, Taylor Scott, Jimmy Jones, Logan Scott and Spencer Webster will serve as active pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Community Hospice Foundation, Vidalia.

Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
