Verna Jean Williams, age 80, of Hazlehurst, died December 06, 2022, at her residence.
Miss Williams was born March 12, 1942, in Jeff Davis County.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Vernon Dennis Williams Sr., and Annie Mae Mullis Williams.
She enjoyed being a Caregiver and was a Denton Baptist Church member. She enjoyed reading, she loved her animals and especially her parakeet.
Survivors include her sister, Ezelle Williams Stapleton of Lumber City; her brother, Dennis Williams Jr. (Linda) of Denton; several nieces and nephews also survive.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
