Wesley Ervin Sears Jr.

Wesley E. Sears, age 68, of Hazlehurst, died Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at Lumber City Nursing Home.

Mr. Sears was born March 03, 1952 in Jeff Davis County to the late Wesley Ervin Sears Sr. and the late Bruner Mills Sears. He worked many years in the Textile manufacturing Industry as a mechanic.

Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Betty Ann and James McIntyre of Hazlehurst; two nephews, Ricky Josey (Sylvia) of Hazlehurst and Timmy Josey (Darlene) of Hazlehurst; several great nieces and nephews; his closest friend, Mike Powell also survive.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 12:00 noon with Rev. Glynn Stinson and Chaplain Timmy Josey officiating at Riverside Cemetery in Lumber City.

The family may be contacted at his sister’s residence, 341 RV Park, Hazlehurst.
