Willie Pearl (Long) Brewer

Ms. Willie Pearl Altman Brewer, of Jeff Davis County, left this earth on July 10th to be with our Heavenly Father and those loved ones gone before.

She was born on December 12, 1936, in Coffee County.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie B and Maggie Pearl Wright Long, her husbands, Marvin Altman and Randy Brewer.

She was one of the kindest, good-hearted people you could have ever known. Always smiling and never complaining.

She was an excellent cook, loved her Fox News and loved her pets as well.

She was also the best Mother, Nanny and Nanny Brewer that we could have ever wished for.

Those that knew her would say they were truly blessed by her kind heart, sweet soul and gentle nature.

Mama, you will always be in our hearts and souls. We miss you

tremendously already but we know we will see you again.

Rejoice, rest peacefully and fly high. We love You.

Survivors include her son, Rickey A. Altman (Jeffrey Erickson) of Phoenix Arizona; her daughter, Marlene A. Reynolds (Chester Sellers) of Hazlehurst; sister, Imogene Carter of Hazlehurst; grandson, Christopher Reynolds (Candice) of Hazlehurst; six great-grandchildren, Jasmine, J.P., T.J., Emi, Jayden, and Tate; nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 18, 2024, at 11:00am in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor with Rev. Jeffery Spell and Rev. Nathan Greer officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow in the Hazlehurst City Cemetery.
